Job Description

Customer Service Representative, Self Storage We are looking for a customer-focused, organized, and hands-on Customer Service Representative to help deliver an exceptional experience at a self-storage facility. This is more than a front-desk role. You will be the face of the facility, helping customers through important life transitions while supporting sales, rentals, site standards, collections, security, and daily operations. If you enjoy building relationships, staying busy, solving problems, and taking pride in a well-run property, this could be a great fit. What You'll Do Welcome and support customers by phone, online, and in person Follow a structured sales process to convert inquiries into rentals and identify upsell opportunities Complete rental agreements, protection plans, discounts, payments, and account updates accurately Build positive relationships with current and prospective customers Respond to customer questions, concerns, and service issues professionally and promptly Conduct regular facility walkthroughs to monitor unit availability, cleanliness, lighting, security cameras, and brand standards Maintain accurate unit inventory and customer records Process daily payments, collections, and business reconciliation Support delinquency management, collection calls, and auction processes in accordance with company and legal requirements Monitor local market activity and competitors to support pricing and sales strategies Identify property improvement opportunities that enhance the customer experience and facility performance Support a safe, secure, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and teammates What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent Valid Drivers License Previous experience in customer service, sales, retail, property management, hospitality, or a related field is an asset Comfortable speaking with customers, handling objections, and closing sales Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented approach to payments, records, inventory, and daily reconciliation Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings as needed Comfort handling sensitive conversations related to overdue accounts and collections professionally Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check and motor vehicle record verification Why Join Us?
