POSITION SUMMARY

As an Event Sales associate at Gallatin Event Rental you will be working with clients to bring their vision to life. Whether they are planning their dream wedding, a family reunion, the company party or just need a few folding tables for their garage sale - it's the details that make a difference. Communicating with clients to understand their needs and exceed their expectations by delivering a friendly, professional and personal experience will be your priority. You will be responsible for educating clients on our rental inventory, assisting them with building out their quote, collecting payments to close the sale, and all follow up communication along the way. You will also play an integral role in the growth and development of our overall company by meeting monthly with the owners and management team to ensure that we are on track with sales and operational goals for the entire company. CLIENT RELATIONS + CORRESPONDENCE

Promptly respond to client inquiries and guide customers through the rental process Effectively communicate with clients by email, phone and in person to coordinate event details Prepare quotes and provide valuable follow-up correspondence throughout the process Clearly communicate rental policies and procedures and obtain contract signatures and payments Design tent layouts and provide spatial planning tools for clients Follow up with clients after their event to ensure that all team members provided excellent customer service Accompany warehouse manager on site inspections when necessary Anticipate and respond to any overbooking issues, damages or loss Foster existing relationships and make meaningful connections creating long term partnerships Participate in lead generation to build relationships and gain future clientele. Expand customer base by building relationships with industry vendors and venues Deliver an enjoyable and positive customer experience throughout all aspects of the rental process

MARKETING + BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Identify competitive edge factors Competition analysis Contribute to Social Media outlets alongside owner Identify event trends, utilize industry resources to stay up to date Collaborate with owners on marketing and advertising projects Help increase overall sales revenue Research and develop procedures to add to the growth of Gallatin Event Rental

GENERAL OPERATIONS

Work closely with the Warehouse Team to provide an efficient and collaborative workflow between departments Schedule and plan for annual physical inventory alongside Warehouse Manager Review website periodically for necessary updates to descriptions, pricing and quantities Accounting of linens - sorting, shipping and receiving Ensure a safe and clean work environment Perform other tasks that may be assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

A majority of the work will take place in an office setting. There will be times that work in the warehouse will take place. This position requires the individual to be able to meet the following: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Ability to go up and down stairs Ability to stand and walk constantly is required. Ability to bend, twist, crouch, squat, pull, push, and reach Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions
