This role is responsible for generating rental revenue by responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotations, coordinating logistics, and ensuring equipment is delivered and maintained to meet customer needs. Responsibilties Generates rental revenue by responding to incoming inquiries, managing existing customer accounts, negotiating terms, and serving as the primary point of contact for all rental equipment needs Prepares accurate and timely quotations for new and existing equipment rental opportunities Coordinates logistics for equipment delivery and pickup, including scheduling freight, tracking shipments, and ensuring on-time arrivals Communicates with the service department to schedule and coordinate any required maintenance or repairs on rental equipment, ensuring units are job-ready and minimizing downtime Works closely with the service team to coordinate field technicians for on-site support, maintenance, and emergency service calls as needed Resolves customer, vendor, and internal issues promptly; follows up to ensure full resolution and high customer satisfaction Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all rental equipment, including features, applications, and availability Develops, reviews, and maintains rental agreements and all supporting documentation in compliance with company policies Monitors rental inventory levels and collaborates with operations to optimize equipment utilization Ensures accurate data entry and record-keeping within internal systems (AX) Communicates proactively with customers regarding rental status, delivery schedules, and any service impacts Assists with billing inquiries, contract adjustments, and extensions as needed Supports sales and operations teams by identifying opportunities for upselling or long-term rental agreements Skills Strong customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain client trust Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control and administrative tasks efficiently Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for interacting with customers, vendors, and internal teams Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Experience in inventory management systems and maintenance procedures is a plus Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with service, operations, and sales teams Knowledge of rental equipment or industrial products (asset) Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
