Job Description
Customer Service Answer incoming calls and evaluate customer project needs to recommend appropriate machinery (e.g., matching a scissor lift vs. a boom lift for a specific job-site height). Generate quotes, process rental contracts, and handle billing and invoicing using the provided guidelines. Address client questions, negotiate rental rates and resolve issues regarding equipment operation or delays. Logistics & Fleet Management Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules for heavy machinery, ensuring timely transit to and from job sites. Manage inventory tracking, logging which excavators, augers, and lifts are currently rented, reserved, or in maintenance. Maintenance & Quality Control Collaborate with mechanics and service technicians to ensure all returned equipment is inspected, cleaned, and repaired before being rented out again. Coordinate inter-store equipment transfers to satisfy sudden or demand. Above all, candidate must be ready to adapt and overcome issues that arise in this job.
