This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming, professional, and safe experience for every guest who enters our facility. The ideal candidate is approachable, dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to help guests feel confident while following all range and store safety procedures. Firearms knowledge is helpful, but a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and excellent customer service is essential. Key Responsibilities The Range Rental / Guest Experience Associate is responsible for assisting customers with firearm rentals, range check-in, waivers, lane assignments, basic safety guidance, and guest support throughout their visit.
Responsibilities include:
Greet guests in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner Assist customers with range check-in, rental selection, waivers, and lane assignments Explain basic range rules, rental procedures, and safety expectations clearly Help first-time or newer guests feel comfortable and informed Maintain an organized, clean, and professional rental counter area Inspect, issue, receive, and properly secure rental firearms and equipment Monitor rental firearm usage and report any concerns immediately Communicate with Range Safety Officers and other team members as needed Assist with hearing protection, eye protection, targets, ammunition, and other range-related products Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and firearm handling rules Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a safety-first environment Help identify opportunities to connect guests with training classes, memberships, or additional services Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Professional, calm, and approachable attitude Ability to work responsibly around firearms and range equipment Strong attention to detail and safety procedures Ability to follow instructions, policies, and standard operating procedures Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Comfortable working with guests of all experience levels Ability to remain composed in a busy or high-pressure environment Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform basic physical tasks Preferred Experience Previous customer service, retail, range, firearms, or hospitality experience Basic knowledge of firearms and firearm safety Experience working in a training, range, or recreational facility Familiarity with POS systems or customer check-in systems Schedule This position may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends based on business needs. Flexibility and reliable availability are preferred. Work Environment This role is performed in a firearms retail and indoor range environment. The position requires strict adherence to safety standards, clear communication, and professionalism at all times.
