  • Your role and responsibilities
  • As a Brand Sales Specialist you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.

A typical day may involve:
    Client Management & Value Communication:
    Managing clients and effectively communicating IBM's value.
      Decision Maker Engagement:
      Identifying decision makers, qualifying opportunities, and establishing partnerships.
        Sales Process Leadership:
        Overseeing the complete sales process, with a focus on new business.
          Collaborative Ecosystem Engagement:
          Collaborating with the broader IBM sales ecosystem to develop campaigns and boost pipeline growth.
          • Required technical and professional expertise
          Client Market/Industry Expertise:
          Veteran-level technical practitioner experience in one or more client market/industry segments, with a track record of winning through collaboration, resilience, empathy, and innovation. A natural at inspiring and motivating others to succeed in highly complex, enterprise-scale, technically complex sales environments.
          Technical Expertise:
          Technical knowledge around storage technologies, in addition to deep industry knowledge and contemporary methods for co-creating client solutions, with and through others.
          Communication and Influencing:
          Palpable people, communication, and collaboration skills, with a proven record networking and influencing throughout the successful closure of complex technology sales cycles (including $multi-million deals).
          • Preferred technical and professional experience
          • Proven experience selling Storage solutions helping Clients solve their most complex business challenges related to Hybrid Cloud, Data, AI, and Automation including HW/SW
          • A consultative seller who blends creativity with discipline
          • Strong executive presence and ability to lead complex opportunities
          • Passion for shaping value‑led technology conversations
          • Experience working with ecosystem partners.
