HARBOR MOVING & STORAGE OFFICE COORDINATOR
Oyster Bay, NY | Hybrid (In-Office & Remote) $22-$25 Per Hour | Approximately 20 Hours Per Week Harbor Moving & Storage is a growing Long Island moving company seeking a highly organized, friendly, and dependable Office Coordinator to support our day-to-day operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, staying organized, solving problems, and being part of a small business that's growing quickly. You'll work directly with the owner and play a key role in keeping our office organized, our customers informed, and our operations running smoothly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries Schedule moving estimates and appointments Follow up with customers regarding quotes and upcoming moves Assist with dispatching crews and coordinating schedules Create and organize job files and paperwork Confirm jobs for the following day Monitor customer communications via phone, email, and text Update information within our CRM and operating systems Assist with billing, collections, and administrative tasks Help maintain a professional and organized office environment Support the owner with special projects and operational tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable learning new software and technology Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable, dependable, and professional Previous office, customer service, dispatching, or administrative experience preferred Experience in moving, transportation, home services, or logistics is a plus but not required
SCHEDULE
Approximately 20 hours per week Primarily weekdays Flexible schedule available Combination of in-office and remote work possible after training
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$22-$25 per hour based on experience Paid holidays Paid time off after eligibility requirements are met Potential to grow into a full-time Office Manager role as the company expands Positive, family-oriented work environment
