Full Job Description Job Summary:

We're looking for a dependable and mechanically-minded Rental Shop Associate to join our team! In this hands-on role, you'll help maintain our fleet of rental equipment, assist customers with check-in/check-out, and ensure a smooth and safe rental experience. From light repairs to excellent customer service, you'll play an essential part in keeping our operation running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the check-in and check-out of rental equipment, including detailed photos and documentation. Perform cleaning, basic maintenance, and paint touch-ups on equipment as needed. Maintain accurate daily paperwork and electronic records of maintenance and service work. Assist with loading and unloading equipment for customers. Provide equipment demonstrations and ensure customers understand safe, proper usage. Log equipment condition before and after rentals. Support pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts. Operate forklifts and other rental equipment as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Occasionally travel to customer sites for minor on-site repairs. Perform other duties as assigned to support the shop and rental team.

Qualifications:

Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools and equipment. Preventative maintenance and repair knowledge, especially with construction or landscaping equipment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to frequently lift and move equipment/items weighing up to 50 lbs. Why Join Us?
