Rental Agents work to support the Outside Sales & Executive Sales team to make sure orders are managed properly and successfully in the inventory and rental equipment system. Rental Agents also answer direct client rental requests and work directly with other vendors on all aspects of a rental order. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Support sales/account executives on order management
• Create and manage orders from sub-vendors and call-in clients
• Answer incoming rental calls and create orders
• Cover phones during hours of operation
• Some price negotiation, generally with oversight for larger orders
• Manage orders throughout the rental process
• Manage scope — ensure timely billing, manage overdue returns, when necessary, support finance and management on goals and objectives as regards service and financial performance on rentals
• Source sub-rental equipment as needed
• Work with finance to establish new accounts as needed

Qualifications:

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• General knowledge and experience with current audio/video equipment
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work well under pressure
• Available to work overtime, weekends and occasional holiday and be on-call
• Some negotiation/pricing skills, for call-in customers

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit at a desk for up to 3 hours at a time and to operate a keyboard. Minimal to no travel required.
