Rental Property Leasing Associate

We are dedicated to providing a high-quality rental experience to our tenants. Summary We are seeking a Rental Property Leasing Associate to join our team in Culpeper, VA. This role is crucial in managing rental properties effectively while ensuring compliance with housing regulations and delivering exceptional service to tenants. Your contributions will directly support our mission of exceeding customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Advertise and show rental units; screen tenants with background and credit checks. Handle lease agreements, renewals, and ensure tenants follow lease terms. Serve as main contact for tenants, respond to questions/complaints, and manage move-ins/outs. Coordinate maintenance and repairs; inspect properties and ensure they are well-kept. Ensure compliance with landlord-tenant laws and Fair Housing regulations. Keep accurate records of tenants, finances, and property activities. Use property management software to input tenant data and assess applications. Collect rent, manage budgets, pay bills, and track financial performance. Travel occasionally; use of personal vehicle may be required. May need to work some weekends and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Experience in rental property management or office administration is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Knowledge of property laws and management software is helpful Experience with productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
