Rental Bike Associate

Job Overview We're hiring a Rental Bike Associate for the summer at our North Bend Shop, Snoqualmie Point Park, and Tennant Trailhead locations. This is an outdoor, people-first role that blends bike rentals with retail floor support — helping customers gear up, get sized, and head out for a great ride. You don't need to be a bike expert. If you're friendly, dependable, and comfortable in an outdoor retail environment, we'll teach you the rest. The Line Experience is on a mission to bring mountain and gravel biking to everyone, from first-time riders to seasoned cyclists. Based in North Bend, WA at the doorstep of the Pacific Northwest's most celebrated trail systems, we provide bike rentals, skills coaching, gear, and trail expertise to make biking accessible for all. Duties Welcome customers and guide them through the rental process from start to finish Size riders for the right bike and adjust seat height and suspension settings (we'll train you) Explain safety guidelines clearly so every rider heads out confident Inspect, safety-check, and clean bikes as they come in and go out Handle payments and keep accurate records of inventory and transactions Keep the rental space clean, organized, and well-stocked Support the retail floor during slower rental periods — helping customers find gear, restocking merchandise, and keeping displays sharp Answer product questions and hand off to senior staff when deeper expertise is needed Skills Previous customer service or outdoor retail experience preferred — comfortable helping someone pick out a helmet and get set up on a rental bike Strong communicator with all kinds of people Reliable, organized, and able to stay on top of a fast-paced environment Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Available weekends and holidays throughout the summer Bike knowledge is a plus, but not required The Line offers employee discounts on rentals and retail, a summer spent outside in one of the best outdoor recreation corridors in the PNW, and a great foot in the door to the outdoor sports industry. Hourly - $21/hr. Part-time, weekends required.
