Retail-Yard Sales Associate

Woerner Landscape Source is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail-Yard Sales Associate to join our team in Summerdale, Alabama. Position Summary The Retail-Yard Sales Associate is responsible for delivering customer service, processing sales accurately and efficiently, and supporting daily yard and retail operations. This role involves assisting customers with landscape and Hardscape products, operating point-of-sale systems, coordinating material handling, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Products include:

Sod Natural stone Pavers Bulk landscape materials Pine straw Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner Assist customers in identifying products and answering questions Operate cash registers and point-of-sale systems accurately Coordinate loading, unloading, storing, transferring, and distributing materials Maintain clean, organized, and safe retail and yard areas Monitor inventory and ensure products remain stocked and shoppable Safely operate equipment, tools, and machinery Work collaboratively with team members and customers Qualifications & Skills Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities Comfortable learning and using computer and POS systems Ability to quickly learn landscape and hardscape products Self-motivated, dependable, and energetic Ability to perform basic and advanced math calculations, including square footage and weight measurements Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Frequent bending, lifting, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching Ability to move merchandise and work throughout the store and yard Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of retail sales or trade experience 2+ years of customer service experience Benefits Woerner Landscape Source offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including: Health Insurance Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Holidays 401(k) How to Apply Apply to job posting on Indeed by downloading a resume.
