Job Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier/Sales Associate, where you'll be the friendly face that welcomes customers and provides exceptional service. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer engagement Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to ensure attractive product displays Perform cashiering duties including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing registers at shift end Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant items Maintain phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Requirements Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery store environments Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Familiarity with POS systems and basic math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for team support roles Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and inventory management tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Knowledge of retail math principles for sales tracking and register balancing This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their retail career in a fast-paced environment.
