Full Job Description Summary:

A retail sales associate works in physical retail locations to facilitate sales and other customer interactions. Their role is to provide a hospitable shopping environment for customers to encourage people to make purchases. A retail sales associate is responsible for helping customers with questions or concerns regarding company products and services. Their duties include communicating with customers in-person, over the phone or via email.

Job Duties:

Deliver excellent customer service Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times Receive customers and assist them with the selection of merchandise Greet, interact and monitor customers to assist the store in loss prevention Processing orders, forms, and requests Display and organize products in a store for the customers to locate easily Cross-sell products Ensure shelves are fully stocked Manage returns of merchandise Maintain the outlook of the store through dusting, cleaning and restocking merchandise on the shelves Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional work ethic and strict adherence to company policy and sales goals Ability to work flexible hours and multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented Ability to work in a team and independently with minimum supervision Time management and ability to prioritize tasks given Willingness to learn about new items and procedures quickly Other Duties as assigned

Requirements:

Familiarity with POS (point of sale) systems and the ability to learn new technologies Excellent communication skills Cheerful working attitude Outstanding customer service skills Ability to work a flexible schedule Ability to upsell Please note that this position will require evening or weekend shifts based on business needs.

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift up to 50lbs Stand for long periods of time
