Counter Sales Associate -
Parts Distributor Pay:
$20.00/hr
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting customers and contractors with appliance parts purchases, answering incoming calls, processing sales transactions, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Greet and assist customers at the sales counter. Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with parts inquiries, pricing, and availability. Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers and point-of-sale systems. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily balancing procedures. Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners, contractors, and service technicians. Assist customers in identifying and locating appliance parts. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional sales counter area. Receive, stock, and organize inventory as needed. Make occasional local deliveries using a company vehicle. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Previous customer service, retail sales, counter sales, or parts sales experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer and cash handling experience. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Requirements Must pass a pre-employment drug screen. Must have a clean background check. Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Must be authorized to work in the United States. Benefits Full-time, stable Monday-Friday schedule. Competitive pay at $20.00/hr.
