Job Description

Arconic is currently in search of Lead to join our Wastewater Treatment Department based in Springdale, Arkansas . In this role, you will: Create weekly staffing schedule for WWT employees to provide for continuous operation. Maintain operational and laboratory chemical supplies to provide for continuous production Maintain all filter presses plates and cloths to ensure continuous production Maintain Acid Etch scrubber to ensure continuous operation Enter Maintenance Work orders into EAM Maintain WWT laboratory to industrial waste water treatment standards Oversee processing of paint and anodizing waste sludge as required to maintain compliance with all Federal, State, municipal and Arconic requirements. Maintain discharge monitoring equipment and procedures to maintain compliance with all Federal, State, municipal and Arconic requirements. Maintain WWT department and grounds, 90 day hazardous waste storage area, and lean to. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
You have:
(required) Ability to lead a group working towards shared goals. Understanding of Anodizing process and Paint pre-treatment process. Working knowledge of WWT department operations and Industrial WWT lab testing procedures Working knowledge of hazardous waste storage and waste stream disposal procedures. Ability to maintain WWT discharge monitoring requirement Good written & verbal communication skills regarding technical components of chemical and mechanical parts of the operation Capable of mobile equipment operation.
Physical Demands:
Ability to regularly lift 40+ lbs, bend, stoop, and squat.
