Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with confidence and precision. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions about products, and guiding them through their purchase decisions. Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customers to explore new items and increase sales opportunities. Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing displays, restocking shelves, and ensuring products are attractively presented to maximize sales potential. Manage stock levels by stocking shelves efficiently and conducting inventory checks to maintain product availability. Uphold phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear communication at all times. Support supervising team members when needed by helping with training or overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth store functioning. Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions. Previous supervising experience is a plus for guiding team members and maintaining store standards. Ability to perform retail math confidently for pricing, discounts, and inventory management. Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual settings to connect effectively with diverse customers. Experience in grocery stores or retail environments is preferred for understanding customer needs quickly. Excellent phone etiquette for professional remote assistance or inquiries. Demonstrated upselling skills to promote products effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience.
