Job Description
VVRMC is looking for Volunteers to provide support in the following areas: Auxiliary Gift Shop Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a courteous and helpful manner Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately Restock shelves, displays, and inventory as needed Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop Answer customer questions about products, pricing, and store policies Assist with gift wrapping and merchandise presentation Monitor inventory levels and notify staff of low-stock items Support special sales events, seasonal displays, or promotions Follow organization policies and volunteer guidelines Qualifications Friendly and dependable attitude Good communication and interpersonal skills Basic math and cash-handling ability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and organizational skills Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and carry light merchandise (up to 20 pounds) Ability to bend, reach, and stock shelves Benefits of Volunteering Gain customer service and retail experience Support the mission of the organization Meet new people and engage with the community Opportunity to develop communication and teamwork skills Join our healthcare team and make a difference!
