Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant team as a Budtender, where you will be the friendly face and knowledgeable guide for customers exploring our premium cannabis products. This energetic role offers the opportunity to educate, assist, and inspire customers while ensuring a welcoming and compliant environment. As a vital part of our retail experience, you'll combine your passion for customer service with your expertise in product knowledge to create memorable visits that keep customers coming back. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help foster a positive atmosphere where customers feel confident and informed about their selections. Responsibilities Knowledge of marijuana strains, (indicas, sativas, hybrids), edibles, extracts, and other current products on the market Must be willing to purchase a Facility Agent card, which is $300. This fee can be waived if you meet the requirements. Must be 21 years or older and free from any felony convictions. Must have an Arizona ID. You must have one to work in any dispensary Must be friendly, outgoing, trustworthy, honest, and hardworking Perform sales transactions on POS system Basic math skills, counting and handling money Gather and process required patient documents and information, and perform detailed verification while maintaining client confidentiality Phone communication skills Attention to detail and ability to organize Ability to stand for long periods of time Must be available to work nights and weekends Ability to lift boxes/items Reliable transportation Requirements Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially within grocery stores or similar environments involving customer interaction. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product details clearly and confidently. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Experience in supervising or leading teams is advantageous but not required; leadership skills are valued. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions both in person and over the phone. Knowledge of merchandising techniques, stocking procedures, and store presentation standards. Basic math skills for cash register operations and inventory management. Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, stocking shelves, and conducting product demos. Prior experience in a grocery store or retail environment involving sales of regulated products is beneficial but not mandatory.
