Responsibilities Greet customers warmly upon arrival and maintain a friendly, energetic atmosphere at the front desk. Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demonstrations, and recommend suitable items to enhance their shopping experience. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts. Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting additional items or upgrades to maximize sales opportunities. Manage merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store remains visually appealing and well-organized. Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or directing calls to appropriate departments. Conduct basic retail math for transactions and ensure accurate cash handling throughout your shift. Support inventory management by assisting with stock replenishment and inventory counts as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and creating a welcoming environment for all visitors. Qualifications Previous retail sales experience is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases. Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math concepts. Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous. Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays effectively. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally. Demonstrated upselling skills to enhance sales performance through product demos and personalized recommendations. Supervising experience is beneficial for leadership opportunities within the team.
