In this energetic role, you'll engage with customers, showcase our wide selection of mattresses and sleep accessories, and provide exceptional service that turns shoppers into satisfied buyers. Your enthusiasm and product knowledge will drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and ensure every customer leaves feeling confident and comfortable. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills while making a positive impact on our customers' lives. Duties Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation Conduct product demonstrations to showcase mattress features, benefits, and comfort levels Assist customers with selecting the right mattress based on their preferences, budget, and sleep habits Upsell complementary products such as pillows, bedding, and sleep accessories to maximize customer satisfaction and sales Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking to create an inviting shopping environment Process transactions accurately using POS systems, handle cash and credit card payments with proper cash handling procedures Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments Requirements Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in mattress or furniture store environments Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customers Ability to perform basic math for transactions, retail math for pricing, discounts, and inventory counts Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail sales strategies to enhance store presentation and sales performance Join us if you're passionate about helping people improve their sleep quality!
