Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs, providing detailed product demos when appropriate Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive merchandising display to enhance product visibility and appeal Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to maximize customer satisfaction and store sales Educate customers on product effects, usage guidelines, and responsible consumption practices using clear communication skills Restock shelves, manage inventory levels, and ensure products are properly labeled and stored according to safety standards Assist with phone inquiries, providing professional assistance while maintaining excellent phone etiquette Support supervising staff with daily operations, including stock management and customer service initiatives Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments involving customer interaction Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail setting Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly, clear interactions both in person and over the phone Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and basic retail math for accurate inventory management and sales tracking Experience conducting product demos or upselling to enhance customer engagement is highly desirable Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly with attention to detail in cash handling procedures Join us as a Budtender to be part of an innovative industry where your passion for helping others makes a real difference.
