Budtender/Receptionist

Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Budtender/ receptionist to join our team. As a Budtender/ receptionist, you will be responsible for greeting customers and assisting them in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs as well as working the front desk checking in customers and answering the phone. Duties and Responsibilities:

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Greets customers with an positive energy and ensures customers feels welcome and comfortable. Provides explanation of the industry and products to new guests Reception shifts include.. Checking in Customers and checking IDs, answering phone. Assists guests with their selection of products and offers multiple product suggestions. Assist the Manager with additional duties and projects as needed including; barcoding, displaying, reorganizing products, cleaning, etc. Researches and maintains an understanding of recent laws and regulations for both recreational and medical cannabis as it pertains to the cannabis industry. Understands the responsibility of having a designated cash register, handling large amounts of money, accepting cash payment and running debit transactions accurately. Participates in the everyday cleaning chores when not attending to a guest, maintaining a clean and tidy retail space at all times. Maintains positive relationships and interactions with fellow co-workers, vendors, guests, and anyone whom comes into the store for any other purpose. Performs all duties in day to day operations. Regular, punctual attendance is required. Must be available to work 30-40 hours a week. Schedules are subject to change based on needs of the business but we strive for a regular schedule. Ability to get along and work effectively with others.

Qualifications:

• 2 years in some kind of customer service position.
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Knowledge of different cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Cash handling comfortability
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
• Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Comfortable with technology such as cash registers or point-of-sale systems Please note that this position involves working with marijuana products.

All applicants must be at least 21 years old and comply with state regulations. Additional Requirements Must be 21 years or older Must pass any and all required background checks. Possess valid driver's license or state ID. Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry. Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 30 pounds (100 pounds with assistance). This job function may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over, and/or crouching.
