Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Store Associate and be the friendly face that makes shopping memorable! In this energetic role, you'll deliver exceptional customer service, assist with product displays, and ensure the store runs smoothly. Whether handling transactions or guiding customers through product demos, your positive attitude will be key to driving sales and building lasting relationships. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to enhance their shopping experience Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges Assist customers with product demonstrations and answer questions about features and benefits Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean, attractive, and well-maintained Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities while respecting customer preferences Manage inventory levels through stocking, merchandising, and inventory checks Handle cash, process payments accurately, and maintain proper cash handling procedures Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Support supervising staff in training new team members and maintaining store standards Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or featured items Requirements Previous retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customers Ability to perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management Experience with merchandising, stocking, and retail math concepts Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with grocery retail is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional shopping experiences!
