Farmer Market Sales Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Market Assistant to help with Better Organics Farm and Better Botanics at various farmers markets across San Luis Obispo county each week. Better Organics Farm is a Regenerative Organic farm located in Cambria, CA. We grow largely orchard crops and make a host of organic face, body, and hair care products called Better Botanics. This position will be staffing a booth at the farmers market. Market include the below, schedule may vary depending on season and staffing needs:

• Downtown SLO Thursday night farmers market
• Cambria Friday Farmers Market
• Templeton Farmers Market
• Morro Bay Saturday Farmers Market Primary Responsibilities Set-up of booth and market Customer Service, selling goods, handling cash and credit Breakdown of booth and market Secondary Responsibilities Helping market management activities Canning jams, jellies, conserves, other canned goods Harvesting crops as needed Updating website, social media platforms Requirements Able to lift 40 lbs Car with ability to fit tent, tables, and produce Familiarity with food handler safety Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments.
