Join our vibrant team as a Swedish Candy Retail Sales Associates (Swedie's) at our New location at Los Cerritos Center Mall! This is a fun, energetic sales role, during your shifts, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service, sampling delicious Swedish Candy and delighting guests. Your enthusiasm & great energy will help create a fun, welcoming environment where customers feel valued and excited to explore our candy selections. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop retail and sales skills, engage with diverse customers, and contribute to a lively shopping experience. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite candies and treats Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Conduct product demos to showcase new or popular items, encouraging upselling opportunities Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized Stock shelves regularly, manage inventory levels, and assist with stock replenishment Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions about products, store policies, or promotions Share product knowledge to educate customers about unique candy flavors or new arrivals . Requirements Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store, specialty shop or retail setting Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently Create meaningful interactions Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for sales transactions and inventory counts Excellent customer service skills that create positive shopping experiences Experience in upselling products to maximize sales opportunities Share current promotions and offers Enthusiasm for sweets, candy and creating a fun shopping environment Join us and you will gain retail & sales expertise, learn how to merchandise and engage with people of all ages because, Everyone LOVES Candy!
