Job Description
A local well-established dealership specializing in industrial equipment has an immediate opening for a dual role full-time Equipment Set Up and Front Counter Sales Associate. In this position you will be trained in both roles, your time will be split 80% as the Equipment Set up person and 20% as the Front Counter Sales Associate. Experience is preferred but not required. Full time M-F, occasional Sat. Key responsibilities and qualifications for this position include (but are not limited to):
- Position will involve assembling equipment including but not limited to welders, air compressors, band saws, etc.
- Test equipment functions to meet MJB's higher standard of operation & functionality Maintain a clean, organized storefront by stocking and replenishing shelves as needed.
- Training customers in the use of the equipment
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions
- Operate the register and handle all cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Demonstrate professional customer-service and phone skills, using your knowledge of industrial gases and equipment to research, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by preparing accurate, timely quotes and submittals, giving each client personalized attention and tailored solutions.
- Partner closely with Outside Sales to fully understand customer needs to be able to order and recommend the right products, services, and solutions.
- Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required by daily operations.
- Multi-task effectively, managing multiple priorities efficiently while meeting deadlines.
- Exercise sound judgment to resolve routine and non-routine issues independently.
- Possess a Class C driver's license with Hazmat Endorsement—or be willing to obtain one.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor and management Requirements for this position- High School diploma or GED, clean DMV record, physical and drug screen.
