Fishing Tackle Retail Store Associate Do you love fishing and helping people gear up for their next adventure? We're looking for a friendly, reliable Retail Store Associate to join our Fairfield team. What You'll Do Greet customers and provide helpful, knowledgeable service Assist anglers in selecting fishing tackle, bait, rods, reels, and accessories Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash/card transactions Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain a clean, welcoming store Answer basic questions about fishing gear, techniques, and local fishing spots Help receive shipments and restock inventory as needed

What We're Looking For:

Must have full availability, see shift assignments below. Hours assigned may be any of the following shifts: Monday, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Friday or Saturday from 9:30am-6:00pm and/or 9:30am-4:00pm on Sundays. You will be scheduled any of those shifts. We need full availability from any and all candidates. MUST BE ABLE TO MAKE CHANGE USING BASIC MATH SKILLS. WITHOUT USING A CALCULATOR, PHONE, OR REGISTER TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH CHANGE TO PROVIDE THE CUSTOMER. YOU WILL NEED TO DEMONSTRATE BASIC MATH SKILLS.

High school or greater education Knowledge of the fishing industry Able to communicate clearly and work with retail customers Willing and able to learn various tools, procedures, and process Retail experience Be part of a small, passionate team

Full-time Scheduled Shifts are as follows: M-Sat 9:30-6:00pm and Sunday 9:30-4:00pm

Pay:

16.90-18.50 per hour
