Full Job Description Job Summary:
The
  • Metro by T-Mobile Sales Representative
  • is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling Metro by T-Mobile products and services, and ensuring a positive in-store experience. This role involves handling customer inquiries, activating new lines, upgrading devices, and meeting sales targets.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • 1. Sales & Customer Acquisition
  • Actively promote and sell
  • Metro by T-Mobile wireless plans, devices, and accessories
  • .
    • Meet or exceed
    • monthly sales quotas
    • for new activations, upgrades, and accessories.
    • Explain
    • rate plans, promotions, and features
    • to customers in a clear and engaging manner.
    • Identify customer needs and recommend the best
    • Metro by T-Mobile products and services
  • .
    • Handle
    • device trade-ins
    • and assist customers with financing options.
    • 2. Customer Service & Retention
    • Provide
    • outstanding customer service
    • to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Assist customers with
    • account setup, activations, upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • .
    • Resolve customer concerns related to
    • billing, service issues, or device functionality
  • .
    • Process payments and manage customer accounts using
    • point-of-sale (POS) systems

    • 3. Store Operations & Compliance
    • Maintain a
    • clean, organized, and visually appealing store
  • .
    • Ensure all
    • inventory and merchandising standards
    • are met.
    • Follow
    • company policies, procedures, and security protocols

    • Complete
    • daily opening/closing tasks
    • , including cash handling and reporting.
    • 4. Product Knowledge & Training
    • Stay updated on
    • Metro by T-Mobile promotions, plans, and new devices

    • Participate in
    • training sessions
    • to improve sales techniques and product expertise.
    • Educate customers on
    • 5G networks, mobile hotspots, and family plans

    • 5. Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with the
    • Store Manager and team members
    • to achieve store goals.
    • Assist in
    • training new hires
    • and fostering a positive work environment.
    • Qualifications & Skills:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • (required).
    • 1+ years of retail sales or customer service experience
    • (preferred).
    • Strong
    • communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills
