Our nurseries are destinations for all things gardening, landscaping, décor, and outdoor living. In addition to plants, we offer a wide array of quality outdoor living furniture, grills, umbrellas, firepits, and accessories from many trusted brands. We are currently searching for a Designer / Stylist for Outdoor Living Furniture Sales who brings warmth, curiosity and inspiration while helping our customers enhance their outdoor living spaces. We are looking for new team members who are design-oriented and merchandise-savvy, with a passion for engaging with customers using a lifestyle-driven selling style. The ideal candidate will be a customer service-oriented, people-focused team player, with a passion for developing strong customer relationships. Key qualities include a passion for helping customers style their outdoor living spaces to beautifully and functionally suit their lifestyle, an open and friendly personality, ability to inspire and guide in customer interactions, ability to close sales, solid math and computer skills, and the ability to communicate and follow up with clients and vendors. Ideal candidates will : Dig the fun and friendly Green Acres culture Develop, demonstrate, and share a solid understanding of Outdoor Living products and procedures Work to create meaningful relationships with customers that result in sales and repeat sales Be inquisitive and able to discern customers' outdoor lifestyle needs and goals Have an eye for style and design and the ability to guide and inspire customers to purchase from Green Acres Respectfully address and resolve customer concerns Be willing to complete all tasks related to supporting our Outdoor Living customers and the department (maintaining cleanliness of product in the department, inventory processing, light assembly, etc.) Have flexible availability that meets the needs of retail store schedule requirements, including weekends and holidays Grow our business by exemplifying our company mission of helping our customers be successful in their gardens and outdoor spaces This position is full time, typically 35 - 40 hours per week. Hours vary depending on season and projects. Candidates must be able to work weekends, overtime, and outside normal business hours. We work as a team and schedule flexibility is essential. Salary range $19.00 - $29.00 per hour.
