Job Description

Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates is a luxury chocolate boutique that started in Sacramento over 18 years ago. Our chocolates are inspired by local California farms and all the wonderful ingredients grown around us, and our product line includes cookies, chocolates, macarons, hot chocolates, confections, and more. We strive to create a positive work environment where our employees are encouraged to grow not only in their profession, but as individuals as well. This is a part-time position for the retail store located on E Bidwell Street in Folsom. Our ideal candidate is positive, friendly, helpful, hardworking, and reliable. Our Folsom store is customer driven with a hardworking, fun, and social atmosphere.
Retail Sales Associate Job Responsibilities:
Uphold and cultivate our established standards of excellence and customer service Hold a high standard of product knowledge in order to enhance the customer experience Proper food handling required by Sacramento County Health Department Exhibits professionalism, positive attitude and is consistently punctual Utilize POS software and cash handling skills to complete customer transactions Keeping retail store and cases stocked with confections, cookies and chocolates
Retail Sales Associate Requirements:
Ability to learn and retain specific knowledge based around products Ability to multitask and function in a fast-paced environment Insist on the highest standards with attention to detail Effective verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills
Barista:
can skillfully make espresso drinks on a commercial espresso machine (Preferred) Stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to six-eight hours in length, with appropriate breaks. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in weight. California Food Handler Card A dditional
