Basic Job Functions:
Verco Decking/Vulcraft are looking for a sales associate for the Folsom, CA sales office. The responsibilities of the Sales Associate include but are not limited to; being a positive team member and an active participant within our culture while taking care of our customers. Sales Associates, along with their teammates, are responsible for organizing and maintaining bid information to ensure quote activities remain on track, communicating with teammates and customers to ensure information is accurately shared, and following up with customers to obtain market data for use in future projects. The Sales Associate will also be involved in the estimating and pricing of projects being sent out to our customers. The Sales Associate will assist the sales team in building strong, durable, and loyal relationships with customers while assisting in business development efforts with steel fabricators, engineers/architects, other construction professionals, and future Nucor teammates. They will also need to ensure the highest standards of service are maintained through professional, informative, and responsive communication (written and verbal) with our teammates and customers. This position requires willingness and means to travel, if needed. It also may require working over 40 hours per week. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
Basic knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word High School Diploma Strong commitment to safety
