WINE EDUCATOR
(Part-Time) Lambert Bridge Winery | Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County Lambert Bridge is a luxury winery located in the heart of Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma County. Known for our understated elegance, exceptional wines, and highly personalized guest experiences, we are a 100% direct-to-consumer-focused winery committed to building meaningful relationships with our members and guests. We are seeking a Wine Educator to join our hospitality team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about luxury hospitality, relationship-driven sales, and creating elevated, memorable experiences for every guest. The Wine Educator serves as a key ambassador for the Lambert Bridge brand and plays an integral role in delivering exceptional service while driving wine sales and club membership growth. Position Summary The Wine Educator is responsible for hosting seated tastings, tours, and curated hospitality experiences for members and guests while supporting individual sales and membership goals. The ideal candidate is warm, polished, detail-oriented, and thrives in a high-touch, team-oriented environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide exceptional hospitality to all guests and members in alignment with Lambert Bridge service standards Host seated tastings, tours, and food and wine pairings by appointment Build meaningful guest relationships that drive wine sales, club memberships, and repeat visitation Meet or exceed individual sales and club conversion goals Present Lambert Bridge wines, history, and brand story in an engaging, intensional, and memorable way Maintain professionalism, organization, and attention to detail in all guest-facing and operational responsibilities Support daily tasting room operations, including opening, closing, setup, breakdown, and general hospitality readiness Assist with winery events, special experiences, and seasonal hospitality initiatives as needed Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience Adapt quickly and professionally to changing priorities and guest needs Qualifications Previous tasting room, hospitality, direct-to-consumer, luxury service, or sales experience preferred Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to confidently recommend and sell wine and club memberships Professional, warm, elegant, and gracious demeanor Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful, with the ability to multitask Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team environment Wine knowledge preferred; willingness to learn required Experience with a POS system is a plus Physical Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Schedule This is a part-time position and requires: Weekend availability Flexibility for occasional evening events Ability to host both indoor and outdoor experiences Compensation & Benefits Lambert Bridge offers a competitive hourly wage, membership sign-up incentives, commission opportunities and additional employee perks.
