Our team prioritizes product knowledge, compliance, and exceptional customer service while helping guests find the right products for their needs. Position Overview The Budtender is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while guiding guests through cannabis product selections in a compliant retail environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for cannabis education. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner Verify customer identification and maintain compliance with California cannabis regulations Educate customers on cannabis products, effects, potency, and consumption methods Provide personalized product recommendations based on customer needs and experience level Operate POS system accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly Maintain clean, organized sales floor and display areas Assist with inventory intake, stocking, and product organization Stay up to date on product knowledge, promotions, and new inventory Support team members to maintain efficient daily operations Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Retail or customer service experience required Cannabis dispensary experience preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Basic math and cash-handling skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs Preferred Skills Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods Experience with cannabis POS systems (Dutchie, Treez, Flowhub, etc.) Sales or hospitality experience Schedule Evening and weekend availability required Flexible scheduling based on business needs Compensation & Benefits $17.00 per hour Employee discounts Product education and training Growth opportunities within the company How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief summary of your customer service or cannabis experience.
