As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right products for their needs. Your expertise in cannabis products and commitment to creating a welcoming environment will enhance the overall customer experience. Duties Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences regarding cannabis products. Provide product demonstrations and educate customers on various strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash register transactions accurately. Maintain accurate stock levels by monitoring inventory and restocking shelves as needed. Assist in retail sales by promoting featured products and special offers. Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance the shopping experience for customers. Address customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Qualifications Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others. Experience in retail sales or similar environments is preferred. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math. Ability to operate a cash register and POS system effectively. Knowledge of cannabis products is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be at least 21 years of age as per state regulations.
