Hospice of the East Bay's nonprofit Thrift Shoppes are more than retail stores—they help support compassionate hospice care for patients and families throughout our community. We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Part-time Sales Associate to work in our Martinez Thrift Shoppe. This position is scheduled approximately 3-4 days per week , including weekends.
What You'll Do:
Open and close the shoppe Provide excellent customer service Work alongside volunteers to support daily operations Receive, price, organize, and display donated merchandise Operate the cash register and handle transactions Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
Qualifications:
Strong communication and customer service skills Retail, cashiering, or sales experience preferred Ability to work with volunteers and the public Ability to lift up to 20 pounds Join a team where every sale supports a meaningful mission and every day brings new treasures to discover. Variable start times, weekends required. 9:30am-5:30pm; 11am-5:30pm Four days per week 30 hours per week.
