This position involves assisting customers, processing pawn loans, evaluating merchandise, handling cash transactions, maintaining inventory, and helping ensure smooth daily store operations.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to all customers. Process pawn loans, purchases, redemptions, and sales transactions. Evaluate and inspect merchandise including electronics, jewelry, tools, musical instruments, and other items. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately. Maintain organized inventory and merchandise displays. Perform data entry and maintain accurate transaction records. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional store environment. Follow company policies and security procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous retail, customer service, cash handling, banking, jewelry, or sales experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to pass a background check.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting pay: $18.50 per hour. Opportunities for advancement and additional responsibilities. On-the-job training provided. Full-time position. Weekend availability required. Why Join Us?
