As Land Survey Group Leader, you'll lead a team of talented professionals who support projects ranging from infrastructure and transportation to land development and environmental services. Your work will balance strategic oversight, team leadership, and hands-on project support.

You'll work closely with Delivery Leader's and regional practice leaders, ensuring smooth operations while nurturing a culture of learning, accountability, and excellence. This is a hybrid technical and leadership position with real influence and real impact.

Leadership & Team DevelopmentBuild, guide, and support a dynamic team of survey professionals.

Encourage interdisciplinary teamwork and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Oversee team performance, manage workloads, and ensure optimal resource allocation.

Project LeadershipProvide direction on technical execution to ensure high-quality project outcomes.

Assess and refine project scopes, timelines, and budget estimates.

Step into leadership roles on projects as needed to ensure successful delivery.

Operational StrategyStrategically deploy team members to align with organizational goals and project needs.

Uphold internal standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance practices.

Drive innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies and process enhancements.

Client Relations & Market GrowthApply and maintain compliance with client-specific requirementsContribute to identifying new business prospects and expanding the firms regional and national presence.

What You'll Bring to the RoleActive Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in any U.S. state (California preferred).At least 10+ years of progressive experience in land surveying.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage projects, and cultivate client relationships.

Knowledge of DOT / Local Agency procedures and standards is advantageous.

Strong leadership qualities marked by strategic insight, empathy, and clear communication.
