Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Budtender and Shift Lead, where you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment. This role combines expert product knowledge, outstanding customer service, and leadership responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations. As a key team member, you will educate customers about our products, assist with sales, and oversee store functions during your shift to promote a welcoming and compliant atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, providing knowledgeable guidance on product selections and usage. Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items, enhancing customer engagement and sales. Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently. Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining store cleanliness. Support inventory management through stock replenishment and inventory tracking to ensure product availability. Uphold compliance with all legal regulations and company policies related to retail sales of regulated products. Lead shift operations by supervising staff, overseeing customer flow, and ensuring excellent phone etiquette and communication. Upsell products effectively by understanding customer needs and highlighting relevant offerings to maximize sales. Qualifications Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment with POS systems. Supervising experience or demonstrated leadership skills in a retail setting. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear product information and excellent customer service. Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Familiarity with merchandising, stocking, and basic retail math for cash handling and sales calculations. Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to enhance sales performance. Knowledge of phone etiquette standards for professional customer interactions. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and compliance standards.
