environment. Greeter's Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Greets and welcomes customers Takes orders for wash services and suggests upsells as appropriate. Describes specials, clubs, etc. Offers coffee (sucker to kids or sticker) (dog biscuit to dogs) gives trash bag and dash board wipe. Computes or re-computes bill and tickets showing amount due. Processes credit/debit cards or cash, and makes change and issues receipts to customers. Instructs customers to close windows/sunroof, retract antenna and checks pick-up beds for loose items before sending to tunnel entry Shift change procedures- Records amounts received and prepare reports of transactions. Reads and records totals shown on cash register tape and verifies against cash on hand. Maintains area in a neat and orderly manner. Maintains cheerful and helpful attitude. Tunnel Guide's Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manage the tunnel entry process. Inspect vehicle as it approaches tunnel entrance look for loose or broken pieces on vehicle including mirrors, trim, antennas, bumper covers spoilers and bug deflectors. If vehicle has a trailer hitch make adjustments to turn off rear wraps. Make sure power antennas are down. Inspect pickup truck rear beds for loose items Guide vehicle safely and slowly onto conveyor Inform customer to put car in neutral and keep foot off brake, remove hands from steering wheel - assist as needed Set any retracts required and call up conveyor rollers Slide sleeve on rear window wiper, tape down and fold in side mirrors as needed Maintain continuous, steady, and safely spaced flow of cars onto the conveyor Regularly clean and wipe down equipment whenever there is a break in traffic flow Always keep the floor area at the tunnel clear of trip hazards. Safety is everyone job SMILE! Cross train with Greeter as well Lot Attendant Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. ( Other duties may be assigned). Assisting customers with needs and concerns while in the vacuum area Sweeping and cleaning the lot area and other areas of the wash to maintain a clean facility Picking up trash and debris from landscaping areas Restocking vending machines Wipe down stations and hoses to keep a sanitary facility, Sweeping up in the holding queue and other parking areas Pulling trash can liners Checking vacuum hoses for clogs and other issues General cleaning of windows, trash areas, etc. as requested by management Cross-train with Greeter and Tunnel Guide position to cover lunch and rest breaks for both positions and can be called to cover those positions in the event of a call outs
