Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Retail Store Associate at our vibrant resort location! In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, provides exceptional customer service, and ensures an enjoyable shopping experience. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help showcase our products, assist guests with their needs, and contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop retail skills while working in a beautiful resort setting. Duties Greet guests warmly and assist them with product inquiries and purchases Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to enhance guest experience and increase sales Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and organize inventory to maintain an attractive store environment Assist with inventory management, including stocking new products and conducting regular stock checks Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction Support in merchandising efforts by arranging products appealingly and following visual standards Engage guests in product demos to educate them about features and benefits of items Skills Experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures Supervising experience or leadership skills to guide team members when needed Ability to perform retail math accurately for sales, discounts, and inventory counts Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse guests effectively Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail sales environments is a plus Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Proficient in merchandising, stocking, and product presentation strategies Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, approachable demeanor Basic math skills for cash handling, transactions, and inventory management This role is perfect for energetic individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy engaging with people.
