Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic and growing company as a Team Member and be at the heart of delivering exceptional customer experiences next to the pier in Pismo Beach! In this lively role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, handles transactions efficiently, and completes a diverse set of tasks to ensure a smooth flow of operations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and satisfied. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in cashiering and retail operations while working in a fast-paced, energetic setting with a great team. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their visit Operate POS systems to process orders accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, change giving, and balancing registers at shift end Assist with various display and presentation tasks, including inventory managment Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organization by sweeping, dusting, and rearranging items Support the production team by routing inventory and products throughout the stores Experience Previous experience in retail environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems such as Korona is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order totaling Knowledge of retail basics, such as stocking and merchandising are helpful, but not required Experience working in a retail setting is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable experiences to locals and tourists alike!
