Redding Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Cashier to join our team at Chevron. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong work ethic, dependability, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. This role requires compliance with ABC laws and regulations, and applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age (in compliance with ABC laws and regulations). Previous experience as a cashier is preferred; relevant references are required. Successful candidates will undergo a background check and drug screening. Strong team player with dependable character and punctuality. Basic math skills necessary for cash register operations. Effective multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Honest, trustworthy, and ambitious with a positive attitude. Excellent customer service and professional etiquette skills.
Job Duties:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Operating the cash register and handling transactions. Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including coolers and product displays. Regularly cleaning customer areas such as bathrooms, counters, floors, and other facilities. Stocking products and front-facing items in the store. Ensuring the parking lot and trash areas are kept clean and tidy. Taking initiative to complete tasks in a timely manner.
