Job Summary:
The Ticket Taker serves as a first point of contact for guests entering Golden 1 Center by providing a welcoming, efficient, and professional entry experience. This role is responsible for scanning tickets, assisting with guest wayfinding, supporting venue safety protocols, and contributing to a positive overall guest experience. This is a part-time, event-based position. Event team members must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the Golden 1 Center event calendar. Key Responsibility Areas Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner while providing exceptional customer service at entry points. Scan and verify guest tickets for entry into the venue. Assist guests with directions, seating locations, and general venue information. Support venue safety procedures by assisting Security with identifying unauthorized or prohibited items. Ensure guests comply with ticketing, age, and entry requirements. Assist with ticket counts, ticket bundling, and related operational procedures when necessary. Support fellow team members with ticketing operations during high-volume entry periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned concourse and entry areas. Report hazards, operational concerns, or guest issues to supervisors promptly. Respond to guest questions and concerns in a courteous and professional manner. Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance the overall guest experience. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous customer service, hospitality, event, or related experience preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Other Qualifications Ability to work a flexible event-based schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts as needed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain professional and guest-focused in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
