Duties Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to help them find products suited to their needs Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and detailed explanations Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts Upsell products by highlighting new arrivals, accessories, or higher-tier options to enhance customer satisfaction and sales goals Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory Conduct stock replenishment, inventory management, and accurate record-keeping to support store operations Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers Assist with product demos to educate customers about different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories Supervise junior staff or volunteers when needed, providing guidance on customer service standards and store procedures Requirements Prior retail sales experience with a focus on customer service in a grocery store or similar environment preferred Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele Experience in supervising or mentoring team members is advantageous Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor when interacting with customers and team members Knowledge of cannabis products, industry regulations, and safety protocols is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to upsell effectively while maintaining a customer-first approach This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing industry while honing your retail expertise.
