Department Leader West Region - Aviation

We are excited to share an opportunity for the role of Department Leader - West Region - Aviation within our PMCM Infrastructure organization. Reporting to the West PMCM Director of Operations, this role can be performed within one of our offices in the West of the US. As the Department Leader you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of aviation projects within this geography.

You will be responsible for:

Representing Jacobs in the marketplace, including engaging with clients, partners, vendors and the community. Working with our sales organization in the development of the business growth pipeline and strategies for growing our aviation footprint and portfolio. Identifying and tracking new business opportunities and setting priorities for pursuing the best options for success. Performing as Project Executive and/or Manager of Projects across a portfolio of aviation projects. Financial oversight of project financials to meet regional operating margin's goals. Project delivery compliance to meet company's operational standards and processes. Promote a culture of caring, quality, safety and inclusion and diversity. We are looking for an individual who has: The ability to manage internal and external stakeholders while maintaining focus on the business portfolio. Organizational and business management experience. Proven experience and leadership in the delivery and management of highly visible aviation projects. Knowledge and experience with supporting and managing scalable teams of various skillsets and expertise. Connectivity to industry peers, organizations and market trends. Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field. 5+ years of related experience managing large, complex aviation projects. 5+ years of related experience in managing project teams within the aviation environment.
