In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store activities, manage staff, ensure compliance with regulations, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive sales growth, optimize inventory management, and foster a positive team environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all dispensary staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing team. Oversee daily store operations, including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and customer interactions to maintain smooth workflow. Manage inventory control, purchasing, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize product availability and sales. Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and company policies related to dispensary operations and product handling. Develop and implement marketing strategies and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Conduct regular audits of sales data, inventory levels, and financial records such as bookkeeping and payroll to maintain accuracy. Foster excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining a welcoming store atmosphere. Coordinate shift management and supervise cashiering activities to ensure operational efficiency during all hours of operation. Lead team development initiatives including training on product knowledge, sales techniques, health & safety protocols, and organizational skills. Utilize management tools such as inventory management systems (POS), sales reports, and budgeting software to optimize store performance. Requirements Proven management experience in retail environments with supervisory responsibilities; previous assistant manager or store manager experience preferred. Strong knowledge of inventory management, purchasing procedures, retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse customer engagement. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, coordinate schedules, and manage time effectively under pressure. Experience with cash handling, cashiering systems (POS), bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administrative tasks. Familiarity with retail sales techniques including merchandising, marketing initiatives, stock stocking, and promotional planning. Ability to navigate regulatory requirements related to dispensary operations confidently while maintaining compliance standards. Strong organizational skills complemented by proficiency in wireless sales technology or other relevant tools. Knowledge of customer service best practices combined with phone etiquette skills for professional communication.
