Job Description
WE HAVE 3 OPENINGS FOR THE THRIFT STORE ASSOCIATE ROLE. PLEASE SEE THE SCHEDULES BELOW FOR EACH POSITION
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 9:30 a.m- 5 p.m Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30 a.m
- 4 p.m Thursday, Friday, Sunday, Monday 9:30 a.m

Responsibilities:
Open and close the donation center. Greet customers; accept or reject donated items in a high-traffic environment. Evaluate and sort donations, assess quality, and assist customers with donation receipts. Price items per established store and organization guidelines and transport to the sales floor. Complete sales operating a cash register including credit card transactions (training provided). Promote and ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Requirements:
- 1-2 years of previous experience in retail sales or customer service
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Experience in housewares, clothing, electronics, or jewelry sales is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and be able to lift 40 pounds
