Onsite About the role We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Sales Associate to support daily retail store operations in Santa Monica. This role is ideal for someone with retail experience who enjoys providing excellent customer service while also supporting inventory management, merchandising, and store operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable balancing customer-facing responsibilities with operational tasks such as inventory tracking, order fulfillment, stock management, and sales reporting. This is a part-time, onsite opportunity with potential for extension based on performance. Key Responsibilities Retail Sales & Customer Service Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with products, pricing, and store policies Process transactions using the POS system Maintain a professional and welcoming shopping experience Store Operations & Merchandising Maintain store appearance, product displays, and merchandising standards Keep sales floor, fitting rooms, and stock areas organized Support daily store operations and internal order processing Inventory Management Receive, track, and replenish inventory Pick, pack, and fulfill orders Assist with inventory counts, audits, and stock management Administrative Support Support sales reporting and inventory tracking Maintain accurate records in POS and inventory systems Utilize Excel for reporting and operational tasks Experience Required for Your Success Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of retail experience Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Experience operating POS systems and handling cash transactions Inventory management or stockroom experience Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Strong communication and organizational abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented approach to work Preferred Qualifications Experience in retail operations or store administration Merchandising and visual display experience Inventory auditing or stock counting experience Experience processing shipments and fulfilling orders Exposure to sales reporting or inventory forecasting Why Apply?
