Seasonal (must be available through the end of summer) About Cassidy Ranch Cassidy Ranch is a organic vineyard and farm dedicated to growing a diverse mix of fruit flowers, vegetables, fresh herbs, and grapes. We are looking for a motivated, hands-on intern to join our team for the summer season and gain experience in all aspects of farm operations. Position Overview The Seasonal Farming Intern will assist with day-to-day farm activities from seed to harvest. This is a physically active, outdoor role ideal for someone interested in sustainable agriculture and eager to learn by doing. Key Responsibilities Assist with seed propagation and greenhouse tasks Participate in planting, cultivating, and maintaining crops Harvest produce according to farm standards Wash, pack, and prepare produce for distribution Support general farm maintenance and organization Occasionally assist with farmer's markets and/or farm shop operations, including customer interaction and product setup Qualifications Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable and punctual with good time management skills Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team Interest in agriculture, sustainability, or local food systems is a plus (but not required) Requirements Must be available to work through the end of the summer season Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods Weekend availability may be required (especially for markets) What You'll Gain Hands-on experience in all aspects of small-scale farming Exposure to direct-to-consumer sales through markets and farm shop Practical knowledge of seasonal crop cycles and farm operations If interested, please email a resume to elizabeth@cassidy-ranch.com
